Utopia

Sometimes customer projects generate concepts that the customer decides not to use for one reason or another. This "renewable world" was exactly the kind of idea that was drafted but ultimately not used. Still, we found the raw sketch interesting enough that we decided to fully bring it to life on our own time.

We created an 8-second loop, where a battery charged by renewable energies creates an imaginative world with an Escher-like self-filling waterfall at its core. The animation project posed interesting challenges (e.g. the impossible waterfall mentioned above) and gave us the opportunity to practice different composition techniques.
