Design agency Mainosto's mission is to provide every small business in Finland with a professional logo and visual identity. To achieve this goal, Mainosto offers free logos. If the customers like the logo, they can buy it and also order more materials, such as a complete graphic identity, a website, etc.

The young and ambitious company needed itself a logo, a visual identity and a website, so Riesen Design created a cheerful and approachable identity for them.

The M-icon resembles the colourful stroke of a paint brush, and the grids refer to the sketchbooks often used by logo designers which feature similar grids. In addition to the website, the end result of our collaboration was a comprehensive brand book that defines the use of the logo, the typography, the colours and the grids, as well as the style of photography and illustration.
