Jää­kiekko­kauden Parhaat

The Ice Hockey Gala, which is usually held in June, did not take place this year due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, the best players of the ice hockey season were celebrated again this year, but this time as a special broadcast on MTV3 – just before the Finnish team's World Cup match against Latvia in Germany. The event was exceptionally relayed from the Finnish Ice Hockey Museum in Tampere. In this broadcast were published, among other things, the results of the vote for the best players of the season, the female ice hockey player of the year and many more. 

Riesen Design got to design the title sequence of the broadcast and the prize animations. It was a great pleasure to see our work on a big TV screen once again! The look of the event was born out of a combination of traditional hockey-themed elements and a 1920's festive gala atmosphere.
